Acquired an ATC 250R 1982 - Starts right up and can drive it around but from what you can see from the pics its pretty beat up. So looking for parts if anyone can help, currently has a 200x front wheel but I have the original, other than that allot of little things are needed.

If you have a sand blaster and some cash that should clean up very nice! I would get all new plastics, seat and an aftermarket exhaust (it looks like someone tried to gut that one out and reweld it. Plus powdercoat/polish/chrome some things and i think it would look pretty good! And get some nice tag bars for it.

No Brakes - though I do have the orig front rim and brake system. Axle seems straight I have not noticed it being bent. Drove it around yesterday, I think this week I will park it tear it down and start having things power coated and sand blasted.. Winter is close so I can take my time in finding parts and such... But it runs and drives so at least its a start

I am in Westmoreland NY area

wow, I almost claimed that as one of our old trikes. We had one that we put a 200x front end on. it looked the same, right down to the rusty drive chain :D lol

I don't think that thing would get packed up in Washington and make it's way to NY

a scavenger hunt I must say. But as one can see from the pics I need
1. Rear brake set up
2. A New pipe and silencer. Aftermartket will do.
3. Plastics - I emailed maier to see if they are availiable.
4. the seat bottom I have seen the molding foam and covers online
5. Headlight - though I think I am going to forgo this and go with a number plate.
6. Motor starts on the second kick always <pretty sound motor> Though I al going to strip it down and remove the paint and possiably power coat it - or leave it unpainted.
