just got this today, its an 85, it came all the way from new york, luckily the guy was coming up my way to a show and brought it with him, he was the original owner and he said its sat in his garage for about 13 years and told me he was asking $300 but realized it needed some work and told me to make a reasonable offer.. so I got looking inside the tank and he must of had tried to seal the tank some years back because it had started to peel off inside and the bottom side of the handle bars a the rims have alot of surface rust .anyways I cleaned the carb and used another 70 tank to get it fired up and it runs pretty nice. The boy wants to take it for a ride soon. so I'd better get to work.

Cool!! 70's are soooooo much fun. I got one for my daughter a few weeks ago and I am "restifying" one for myself right now. The one I'm working on is almost done so keep an eye out for some pics to give you an idea or two.

I've got to call the guy today and talk about a price , I thought I would offer 200 since it needs some work, this guy restores old Bolen snowmobiles so he has no need for this little trike any more. and , yes, i was suprised to see the spark plud wrench still in its place(good eyes Blue27). I'm letting my son take it for a spin today after I swap the fenders around. Thanks for the compliments . This is the 2nd trike I got out of upstate NY , sorry about the tresspassing in your state Bryan Raffa and OC. I've always tried to buy my trikes within the state I live in but all the decent ones usually show up in other states like you all know.
