I just pick up a nice trike. It's a 1982 185 I believe. I do not know if it's a 185s or not.

How doi I tell ?

Thanks in advance !!!

First off, :welcome: to the boards.

You can post up some pics, and someone on here can tell you exactly what it is.

Thanks for the welcome !!

I have been ice fishing the Mississippi River for a long timee, I came across this 3-wheeler and she runs like a top !!

She needs a lil tender loving care but she will be great for the ice travels.

This sure is a great board with a lot of great info.
I'll see if I can post up some pix...

Very nice 185s indeed!!!!!

You can put a different suspension on it, check out some 200s setups.

I dont know what else will fit on it, I just suggest checking into a 200 setup, because I know they will fit your 185 frame. I have read about 200x front forks on these bikes, but am not positive.

Yes it can. In 1983 the 185s came with front suspension. You can also use the suspension from a 200s. The 200e/es/m front end uses a bigger tire so I would not suggest using one of those. I am not sure it the 200x will fit or not.

to be exact a 83-86 atc 185s or 200s front end will work that uses the 22" tall tires.
