Does anyone know if these are even close to interchanging? IM having absolutely no luck finding a paul turner, esr, etc... for an atc.

The TRX 250 pipe is really long and doesn't have the bends that make an atc250R pipe fit into it's position. Also, the trx pipe would probably hit the front tire because the header is really long and straight.

It's not even CLOSE though. You couldn't even rig it up and have it work, they're that different.

True, if the engine was sitting in a go-kart frame (), you'd probably wanna go with the TRX pipe, but that's beside the point.

Believe it or not, but I saw an 85 at the dunes that had a stock 99 KX250 pipe on it. The stinger needed to be modified, but the guy riding it said it ran great and had a lot of power. By the size of the expansion chamber, I'd guess it made a lot of midrange and top end. Just a thought if you're in a bind.

well mine has a modded husqavarna pipe on it, when I took it to my mechanics shop, one of the guys said that he used to flat track atc's and the pipe had a simmial bend to the factrory works pipes they used to run, he asked me if it had killer mid and top and I said sure does, but sometimes my wheel contacts the pipe when bottoming out all the way

Uhhhh yeah, You can get a brand new paul turner high rev or a type 6 pipe from duncan racing. I havent seen the type 6 pipe for the atc before but i know it works really good for my trx. Its $249.00 for the high rev and add $95.00 for chrome. And its the same for the type 6. Then you have to pay for shipping of course.

i dont know why but i assumed the duncan/ paul turner was discontinued so i didnt even do a search other than ebay. I was kinda hoping to get a pipe used but i guess $249 aint that bad for what it is.

search on yahoo... ive seen duncan, paul turner, fmf, dg, and esr.... and im POSITIVE all 4 of those are still made, and im sure im forgetting another brand. on yes, i believe CT still makes a pipe as well..... happy shopping... search for them on YAHOO.COM and you will come up with ESR's website, paul turner etc etc etc.... and purchase them from their sites. good luck.

They don't make those anymore.. It's sad too because they are a really nice choice..
I personally think the paul turner would be a great pipe if you intend on using it's pluses.. top end racing and such..

I hear FMF is a great all around pipe especially the 5 series
I'm in the same hunt for a pipe for mt atc also
