here is my R that i'm getting ready for this friday night to flat track with billy, this will not be purpose built to be a flat tracker, as after these two races,(jasper, valdosta) I will be lifting it back up, more or less I'm goint to try it out, if I like it I will built a purpose built flat tracker begining of the year, as for this R I have fabed up a custom lowering link fo the rear and jsut lowreed to fork llgs down as much as I could, you can see where the tire will contact my pipe anyu lower, as I have to have some kinda travel, the rear tires were pirated off of my old mans golf cart, (background) they will be mounted on gbc 8x8 standard offset aluminum rims, I know this may be skinny but I have only so much to work with right now, wish me luck guys!!!:w00t:

I did some more measuring and this will most likely be the overall height of my machine with my gorrilla monsoon ass on it

well her she is.. tok her out for a run on the blacktop, has a slight hesitation at first, will do some adjusting, then it has wicked accelaration, I have the tires over inflated right now to rule out all options of a blow out, I will have to deal with the front tire right now, it only contacts my pipe under extreme braking so Im good there, with me on it its only about 2 inch from the frame hitting the rear caliper so its LOW, I made my own adjustable lowering link, wich can go almost back to stock hight from here and all the way down till the frame hits! so its got great adjustability I have a slight wobble in my left side, I think my hub is bent, and the front end dosnt track perfect but I think I can handle it, all that I have to do now is put my front number plate on and side numbers. Hopefully things wil go great and there wont be no disasterous conclusion to saturday night:w00t:

You could always switch sides with your fork legs so maybe the front tire wouldnt touch, but I've seen old flat track pics with smaller front tire also.
