ok guys i tryd to start her up by putting starting fluid and carb cleaner in the spark plug hole and nothing. i did it because im not putting gas in the tank. i will be sending the tank out for a flame job. anyways back to my problem. i thought maybe theres no spark and i checked and i do have spark real good spark. does it need gas in it to start up? i figure it should have at least sputtered.

your getting a flame job on your 200s gas tank? lol awesome, thats exactly what i plan on doing to mine very shortly here. Infact, i just got inside from primering the tank. Make sure you post some pics when you get it, cant wait to see.
as for it not wanting to sputter or anything, i would think that it should sputter with spraying stuff in the carb. if you want to try it with a gas tank, you can make a temporary tank with a valve stem for a tubeless tire and a plastic oil container or even a 20 oz pop bottle. just drill the right size hole in the lid of the container, so you can put the valve stem in it. then unscrew the center core out of the valve stem. Fill the container with gas, screw on the lid, hook the fuel line up to the stem, and there ya go lol. hope you get it running, i cant wait to see it when its all done.
