1985 Yamaha 225 Tri-Moto

Is 30 psi of compression enough to make this atv run??I can't even get a cough out of it while spraying gas into the intake...

Umm no, i think it has to be somwhere around 130ish im not sure.

When I first checked compression on my big red it was 90 psi. After buying another carb since the original one was shot, replaced filter, cleaned tank, lines, petcock, etc. It now runs GREAT!
I haven't checked compression again with the tester, only by feeling the back of the muffler when running and it feels real strong.
Do all of the things needed to get it running, carb cleaning, check fuel lines, spark, filters, etc. and you just might get it to fire up!
