engine question

As you all know i own a tri moto 200ern. I was looking at the more modern yamaha engines, like 1990, 1992. Or course 200 cc. And what surprises me is that there really isn't any differnce between my 85 and 1990 or in some cases more up to date. My question is what are the odds of fitting a more newer engine into my bike. Keeping in mind it's a 200cc engine. From what I see it should'nt be to hard to fit in. except for the rear end.

Hi Troy,
I have modded more engines in the smallest frames than I can remember. Just finished a Blaster with a Honda 650CB Custom motor (Drag Bike lol ?). A few friends + A few drinks = Asking why the next morning lol. I have a shop full of toys and parts. Just let your imagination run. Dont see why you couldnt drop a 200cc engine in that frame. Might need to fab up a set of motor mounts but that is the easy part lol.

Good to know. I think if i do put a newer engine in, I'm getting one with a reduction gear in it. See where alot of people are in it for speed i'm in it for power, Pulling power.
