My 300ex was low on oil!!! it developed a pinging noise!!! SHould i of jetted it for just a K&n filter? It has lost alot of compression think i blew it up???? :evil:

As soon as its paid off it is gone, I found a 98 Shee and a Kx250 to trade for it!!!!! I had a choose of any combination of two. My other choise was a Cr125 but thats too little for my dad.

I got it runing right again, I put about a 1/4 quart of oil in and some lucas oil trement stuff in it. But it still has no power!!!!! I am gonna rebuild it, put some new rear tires on it and Trade it for that shee and kx250..... Bye bye pug honda hello BANSHEE!!!!!!

If you are gonna build a mini quad you will want to use a blaster frame it is much smaller. A 300ex is not that little.. just a thought... I have a blaster rolling chassis but mudfreak is holding it hostage :rolleyes: :oops:

I would have the honda frame.that way when he gets older i can put a biger motor on it and he won't get cramped up on the tiny blaster .

You guy think that if i get a K&N stage 1 jet kit that is for a K&N filter and a aftermarket pipe on it. IF I just took out the baffle in my stock pipe it would not be running lean right????? With the jet kit i mean... I know it is runing lean now.... :rolleyes: :x

If you haven't screwed with the carburator, just put it back to stock (filter, airbox lid, whatever) and see if it runs any better. Your first post said it was low on oil or something right? If you screwed the engine up by having low oil level, an air filter, jet kit, or no other "add-ons" will fix that.
