That's one nasty crack. My Mate had a 250es frame that broke around there aswell, might be a design flaw or something. I would seriously consider getting a new frame.

Try to fit a smaller peice of tubing inside and weld it top and bottom. Then after that weld pecies all around it and then grind it down and paint and then bam.

Thats odd, I launch my SX over huge leaps and just a wheelie did yours in??
I'll certainly take a look at my 2 SX's.
You said a new frame isn't an option... I've seen frames for the SX go for 30$ on EBAY.

i welded it back up today.it separated that much from the front end coming down and the weight of the bike.i used a ratchet strap to pull it back together, with 2 of my buddies holding it together for me to tack it.they were all leavin for a trail ride so i didnt gusset it(no time)just ran a bead.it must have been cracked *Edited**Edited* and i didnt notice.im real hard on my bikes too so im not surprised it happened.i dont want to put another frame cause my hubs are welded so the rear ends alot harder to take off, also im lazy

yup as long as your good at welding and you cleaned it before you welded it you should be ok. when they made these trikes i dont think they thought crazy people like us would be riding em. i hope your welds hold up or it will be one hell of a time getting it cleaned back up agai. ive bin there

if i was you id pull it back together weld it...then cut a pipe right down the middle top to bottom ...put it around it and weld it up tight ...that will make it much stronger

thats the plan but i needed to go with the boys, you know how it is:beer
its funny cause 1 guys got a 650 rincon, the other a fourman 500,a 350 4x4 rancher and my buddy josh with the ol 200e,aside from josh,i kept up no prob with the big boys till we hit the big holes in the bog.after they were clean but i had about 20 lbs of mud on me.every time i go out now i want a big 4x4
