Isn't that the point, break the bar not the frame?

Looks better then nothing (although I could spend $16 on something better).

no thats not the point.

the bars stays and does not break , the bike doesn't then flip over ,and you dont crack your head open.

my grab bar is home made. very stout and simple and welded directly to the frame no bolts. looks great , will not bend, and is a good place to lock my bike with a chain.
