Hi everyone !
I bought a Blaster last night (I know dont bust on me lol !). Pretty much all there but some parts are in a box. Well my question is are the Blasters rear brake caliper and Tri Moto Rear brake caliper the same ?? I looked in the box of parts and it looks like the same one off my YTM 125 , 200 and 225. Can anyone confirm this ?? Pic below \/

Thanks a bunch !! :beer

I'm not for sure, but there may be some difference. My GF has a Blaster and I thought the same thing when I saw the blaster brake setup. I do know that if you compare a new set of blaster brake pads to a new set of 1985 225DX brake pads, you'll see that the 225 pads are thicker if my memory serves me correctly. Maybe the pad difference is because of some slight differences between the calipers... ?

I thought so. Now it has me pondering lol. Going to dig up an old YTM caliper and compare it to the Blaster. Also I just looked in my Dennis Kirk Catalog and cross checked the brake pads. Blaster front pads are the same for the YTM175 to YTM225 but the rear brake pads are not the same at all. So they must be a wee bit thicker.

Thank ya !
