350X headlight plastic

Does anyone make different colored headlight plastics for the 350X ? I know Maier will do it if you order 10 or more but don't really need that many....lol. I thought I saw someone on here who made different colored TRI-Z headlights. Would like something different than red or white.

i have new maier black plastic on my 86 350x, but i couldn't stand the red headlight shell anymore.i used krylon fusion gloss black on it and it matches really well.time will only tell if it holds up,so far so good though!!!!!!!!

No where makes the headlight plastic, The method all the companies use to make there plastic makes it so they cant do the little bocks the lights screw into. So you only option is paint it.

Aussieduner doesn't make them anymore, your best option for painting plastics is automotive bumper paint. It has an additive that helps it adhere to the plastic and makes it pliable so it doesn't chip easily

also make sure you not only use DAWN soap (yes custs grease) and a tooth brush to scrub it well as well as sponge but when done, use accitone as well. use a blue shop town so no peices are elft and rub it down with accitone to ensuyre it is perfect clean. then you can pain tit. if not it will bubble after a while.

Ive got a buddy who runs a high pressure mold injection machine. From what ive been told, reproducing a 350x headlight bezzle cannot be done through high pressure injection machine because of the box like design and the external mounts placement. It would be interesting to see how Honda made them....and see how Aussiedunner made them...

Supply and demand drive the price. It doesn't matter what they USED to sell for. Nobody makes them anymore.

If you can't find anyone on here then you may try WIKID Fabrication on Facebook.
They have some nice looking fenders for several trikes. If you do this for your 350x headlight shell, let me know. I need one in a special color for my build. I haven't reached out to them yet because I am not at that point t yet.

You can look at it through a browser even without an account.
I know the feeling. I had an account but disabled it. I checked it once every couple weeks and in Facebook time that is 2 years. Update.....didn't want to get out of bed...... update......maybe the shower and coffee will get me going.......update......pic of my double espresso with whip cream and skim milk from the latest trendy coffee shop...... update......work is so busy, don't have time to do anything...... except update my timeline

I have seen some for sale over the years that were black, red and or white. 2 simple rivets held a bracket stay together.

I'm sure they are not inexpensive. Lots of R and D, and time!! Those puppies came out great.

I'd try to hook up with 1 of the guys pouring them into a mold and ask for the color you want because it's gonna be expensive no matter what...

I'd pay a decent amount cause I know they won't be cheap. I don't have the ability to do it myself so I gotta pay. Fair enough. Just need someone to make it.
