How does the S2, 350 twin go? Top speed? Hows the acceleration?

This is what is on my mind. Something crazy and with a street title. Low to the ground, sticky rubber and wide.

hey, that looks like an R5 or RD350, twin. been thinking about that too, but not for the street. really need some kind of differental for the street. also, 2 cycles can have some seizure issues when run at constant high speed. not sure about H1, but I have an S3. banshee may be the way to go, lots of parts available.

I think an H1 would be fine at higher speeds. I can't picture doing trips over 100km long so no big deal. I only want it as a play toy, something different in a world thats too common. Differential, no, wide straight axle and sticky rubber is all I want. It'll be insane to drive I'm sure.

I built an H1 500 lay down trike back in the mid 90's. It was pretty fun but the power was so-so. My buddy built a H2 750 which was an awesome animal, but when pushed it to full on drag the transmission just would not hold up. Parts for those things are becoming next to impossible to find.

I want it as a daily rider, something to bum around my town and make some 30minute commutes on. I don't see myself offroading it or doing any serious drag racing. Just want a fast streetfighter. Short travel, loads of power and just cool.
What parts are hard to find? I want a complete running bike to use. Are performance parts hard to get? WHat about rebuild stuff?

Oh so you want to keep it as the bike? Ya that would be cool. For performance the top guy was Paul Gast and Fast By Gast racing. They do reed valve conversions and motor work on the kawi triples. Also purple haze racing is good too. There is a couple websites dedicated to them also.

No no, I want to convert it to three wheels. To try and manipulate the rules with the streetbike title/insurance and ride it around my area.
Paul Gast huh?

Opps, I've been calling the H1 the 750 when the H2 is the 750. I want a three wheeled H2 750.

Anyone know about the Yamaha TZ750? It was a four cylinder Kenny Roberts used to flattrack race.
I think if the trike conversion isn't road legal I'll keep it as a H2 750 bike, kind of a drag/streetfighter machine. Time will tell.

hey, if you find any pictures of a TZ750, be sure to share them on here. by the way, the trike pictured in 750 conv is mine, and it's real easy to lower about 3-4 in. also it has a cb750 title. real hard to find a dot 11" tire for the front though.

A buddy of mine had the 500 triple, the frame was so crappy on it the front end would start to wobbling when you got around 100. I heard the 750 was no better. I have a friend at work that has a 750 triple that hasn't been ridden in years, but he won't give it up. If he would, I was thinking about putting that engine in my Hi Performance frame insted of the RD350 engine I'm messing with now. He has been talking about cleaning out his garage lately, so I've been keeping my fingers crossed. The monoshock frame I have is the same as the 750 triple frame, just different engine mounts. And I should be able to fab up some engine mounts. I have a title for the rd350 as it was a running machine, but it is a very slow moving project. I have other fun projects I've been working on.
