Well, I've given up on the ytm175. Too much time and money into it and it still doesn't run properly.

Thanks to everyone who helped me out with advice, it was all good and solved some of the issues. But after changing the flywheel it still wouldn't run right. Got it going with some fuel in the cylinder and even took it for a quick spin, but once it was shut down it wouldn't fire up again....and yes lots of spark and fuel??

I'm at the end of my rope- the complete bike and parts bike are now posted in the classified section. Thanks again guys.

Dude you sound like me about 4 years ago with my yt175. I ended up parting mine out on ebay and making enough money to fix up my Honda 250sx. Don't give up on the trike thing just get yourself a 4 stroke honda.
