I saw a couple of these at a local Yamaha dealership. I can not help but see a great trike foundation here. They are wide, low and do not have a lot in the way. The builder can even keep the stock seat and either fab up some rear fenders, or use something off another machine. It is not a speed beast. But it is already street legal and has a reliable power train. I bet this would make one easy conversion.
By the way, I was not sure which forum this fit into, so I guessed.

I spent a while studying this bike. I am willing to bet a Z swing arm will work very nicely. Just re gear it and go.

If I can get some bills paid down I plan to buy a new one. My wife has already said she wants one.

I can't believe this, but I have been researching a trike conversion with this SAME BIKE!!! Great minds do think alike, Louis. I thought I was the only one who had kicked this idea around lately. Get with me and Billy, cause we are trying to plot something as we speak.
I do not know how I missed this post 4 weeks ago:eek:

 i figured some one would get into this idea. i could not get over how wide this bike is. The frame alone would make a great foundation. And being since it is alrady registered as a street legal machine, getting it on the road legally will be no trouble at all. Let me know how you do with it. I am hoping to get to it some time with in the next year.
