New member quick question

after 20 years I finally got another 3 wheeler, I got an 84 200x off of ebay, it is in the process of making its way to me via a cousin and 2 uncles. The problem listed in the sale ad was lights do not work, where should i start when I get this critter home? This site sure brings back some of the good stuff.

Well I think there are wiring diagrams on the homepage, if not someone here will have them. Check power I guess at the stator, or lighting coil. Go right to the source, then trace it around, could be a switch, broken wire, or a bad ground.

Yeah, the first thing I would check would be the bulbs and connection itself at the head light, then the headlight on/off switch.:welcome:
