Alrighty.. i'm getting new sprockets and a chain for christmas... and new bars and other fun stuff.. but thats besides the point.... what gearing do you run in your 200x's... i have stock gearing... but both sprockets are very worn and pointy... i've got 25 inch tires... a mild cam also... it has plenty of power but i do more trail riding than anything.... not twisty trails... just short, straightstretches, and water crossing....

to give you a basic idea of what kind of speed i'm getting out of it now, my dad has a completely stock 200x with stock gearing and stock sized tires.... when he is WOT 6th gear, i'm just shifting into 5th or as far as half throttle 5th... and i have no problem keeping up and passing... so its not just geared high and has poor accel.. so what gearing should i go with???

Well it seems like your gearing is affected by the tires, so if your happy with whats on there now i would get it again. But if you want it to be just like the other x, You need to get a larger rear sprocket, or a smaller front. So if the other X has 22s, and yours has 25's, you would have to go down about 2 in the front, or 2 up in the rear. That should compensate for any lost power.

not sure what kind of cam... the owner before me said his uncle put it in when he had it.. and it does show a considerable amount of power over my fathers stock... yes with the 25s it will fly!....
