I was wondering if a 1983-86 headlight guard off of a 250R would fit a 1985 250SX, or any other year trikes. :wondering

I believe they are Drew. I know the headlight grill for the 85-86 R is the same for the SX.

Are you looking for the guard that protects the headlight or the grill that mounts to the guard? I still have this one up for grabs. :naughty:

I am looking for the guard that protects the headlight. Since you have the guard that protects the glass, you know I have 2-250sx's I could use that for Lil Johns trike.How much? I am thinking of going riding at paragon Sat Dec 2nd. I have not heard back yet from 200xman (Todd) or Mike from L.I. so its not confirmed yet. Anyway let me know.

You really know how to pick dates to ride Drew... I have my driver's test on the second of December! :lol: So I will be unable to attend that ride as well. :(


I'll take $18 shipped for the grill. I figure maybe 15 for the grill and a few bucks for a padded envelope and shipping costs. Sound fair?

Chris I will take the headlight guard price is good can you give me a call Tue after 6pm, My cell # is (516)523-0243. As for the ride date Its still undecided, you see I am off everyother weekend so if the 2nd is bad then I could only go riding on the 16th of Dec. I don't know if Lil John can go on that date.I wiil go to paragon by myself but you need 2 riders to go in the park.

You know I was just on ebay looking and the earlier (83-84) R headlight guards look totally diffrent (top mounting points) than the SX. The liquid cooled R guards are diffrent but it still looks like they will mount to the SX tripples. Anyone 100% sure? :wondering

Heres the one you need to go with the headlight guard. 85/86 is the one to look for, for the sx.
