I have a hard starting tri-z 60. When I get it running it runs great for a minute or two then dies. Can't start it right away. Wait a minute and it fires up and runs great for anouther minute or two the dies. Will do this all day long. Any ideas?

Could be a bad coil? That normally seems to be the problem in most cases in such occurances..

I say it's fuel related. ( just a guess mind you ) .. but the carb fills up after sitting a while.. it fires.. and it burns faster than it feeds and dies.. ?
That thing got a choke ? stuck ?
Fuel filter on that thing ? gas tank rusty ?

Sounds just like the problem I was having with my 110. Make sure your gas tank is venting, clean the petcock filter, clean the carb. Also make sure the fuel lines coming from the tank are in the right position, Reserve, Run, etc. Also check your spark plug.

Thanks for the ideas. I'm looking more fuel related now. Spark and electric seem good. I almost think it's getting to much fuel. Kinda like the float is sticking. Gets to much and boggs out and dies and won't start until it clears up. But like someone said they kinda act similar if they don't get enough fuel too.
