Here are a few more pics of the rides for you guys. The tri-z with the nickel pipe is one i have actually never ridden. I did it last year over winter and have had no reasen to get it down from the garage attic. It will one day be powervalved, and am currently working on all the components to do this. The tri-zinger is a 85 and is one that i picked up form my friends at the local yamaha shop. It was going to be traded in when they told me about it, well i saw it and liked the fact that it was originally purchased there brand new in 84. They contacted the owner and i got it along with certificate of origin, and original bill of sale. Even all of the paperwork in the little plastic bag that yamaha provided with the purchase of a new atv back then. It was in good shape but was used, so i tore it down and went through it top to bottom. I even found a oem seat for it along with new rear fenders. I also got a full DG exhaust in the bag for it. My plan is to get it runnin in the spring dial it in and then hang it on my garage wall (after tf-07) of course. The trx is my wifes 87 that is all stock mechanically other than a DG silencer. It also sports 05 450r front shocks. It runs great and handles awesome but i have only ridden it in the yard a few times to get it dialed. My friends cant understand why i dont ride it. Well if you have to ask why, then you would never understand.:D

love the triz i am doing an 86 slowly myself. i happen to be also collect parts for my tri-zinger as well. mine will be yellow though. i just scored a brand new in the bag red seat. i also grabbed some brand new rear fenders. plus i bought a lot of oem parts brane new. the hardest thing now or at least i havent found is a new or very nice front yellow fender and red bar pad. once i find them ill have everything i need to redo the tri-zinger. i even found a NOS jug, head, throttle, rims, rear carrier, wire harness, tons of parts. been searching for over a year now. where did you get the tires or are they still orginal.i would like to find as close to orginal as possible.
all we need now is for someone to build the red zinger and the board will have all three restored lol.

They are brand new oem tires that i ordered from the yamaha shop. I think through parts unlimited. I have everything for this little Z as well. When i was a kid my buddies dad bought him a brand new yallow model and i thought it was the coolest. I couldnt wait to ride it on occasion, even though i was a little to big for it. Are you bringin yours to tf-07? I think i met you in 05 when i won first place with my 1980 atc 185. I got a trophy for best original trike. Have that trophy on my toolbox. Sadly i sold the 185 to a co-worker. Its still runin great.

I have talked to you in 05 and 06. I had the tri-z on the trailer when you came over to talk, and the tecate you saw when i pulled up and was talking to you. We were also the guys that moved our tent fully set up on the trailer for the drive by. I had a feeling that was you, just wasnt sure. My tecate should run much harder this year with a few tweaks i am doing this winter. I am definately going to be there in 07 with my buddies. We live in northwest In, and primarily ride the sand at silver lake michigan with our "fast" machines.

Na, we had our own fireworks. It's just that the people we met there had a big 5th wheel and couldn't put it anywhere. And you know how the Haspin mud is. It's just safer for them to be able to get out of there if it rains. We had a blast. Glad you remember who i am.
