View Full Version : ? Do the TriZ Front Forks / Shocks interchange between years ?

I was wondering if the 1985 and 1986 Tri Z forks are the same ?

nope... 85's are smaller in diameter

ok now then can the tripple tree be interchanged between years ?

If the forks are different in diameter, then the tripple trees will be as well. I am willing to bet that the tripple tree's will not interchange with the forks. They will interchange with the trikes but the forks, they will not.

if you want to use 86 forks on an 85 you must also youe the 86 tripples and vise versa

Ok great that is what I thought. The tripple trees are interchangeable for the machine. But the forks dont fit opposite year tripple tree.
