I have a 90 GMC 1/2 ton 2wd 4.3 auto trans
It was losing power under heavy acceleration so I replaced the plugs and wires and it seemed to take care of it but now after a few days its worse then ever it will stall out almost under heavy acceleration anyone have any ideas?

if the cats were clogged in that model they would make the check engine light come on,

I replaced the fuel pump and filter not even a year ago. I am thinking it is the converter I was planning on taking it off anyway I mite as well try that and see what happens will 2.5'' inner diamiter pipe work?

hellz yea!! i would find an way to put a 3 inch on. that will really make her bark. you said u changed the fuel system last year right? if you have crap in the tank you could change the filter one day and the next day it can be pluged. is your truck fuel injected? if so maybe ther pluged or something but i doubt it. i would take the cat off and do the air-and fuel filter. im pretty sure its a fuel problem of some sort.

I think 3'' mite be too big . I should have added that I also replaced the gas tank last year at the same time. it has new fuel pump, sending unit, tank, filter all new lines up to the throttle body . I took it out last night it was running fine went and put some gas in it and gave it hell for about 30 to 40 mins no problems at all. I was maybe thinking my gas gauge mite be messed up? its working but I have no idea if its correct. my truck has 40 gal tank so maybe it was really low on gas and wasnt showing it was?

3" will be fine, or run the 2" to the back and go 3" 3/4 ways out.
