I have literally went on a shopping spree. I have spent about $900 in 5 hours on parts. I was going to buy the lifan engine but not now. The good thing is the only thing i have really to buy is some pullstart parts, get tank painted and get my seat made by mrs moshman. I have gotten so far, all new plastics, hooker exhaust, carb rebuild kit, points, new bars, new grips, new wheels, new tires, new brakes, new chain and sprockets, new cables and new baja grab bar. I also got a por15 reseal kit for the tank and i have decided to paint the frame and the forks with the por15 rust prevention and top coat ( which cost a pretty penny ) i should start posting before pics and progress pics pretty soon if i can get a day off.

I probly could have shopped around and got everything cheaper but i went BIN crazy. Has anyone used the por15 to paint something with, how did it turn out? did you brush it or spray it. I got a white top coat for all of the outlining parts but i just got the black rust proofing for the frame and i am not sure how the frame will look with just the rust coat and not the top coat

Good! You know what? You can't take it with you. As long as you do not REGULARLY spend recklessly, you'll be fine. No problem with that once in a while. That is why we work so hard......to enjoy our "stuff!".....it keeps us sane (sort of).

When your girl asks why you spent so much, tell her that it is the inherent trait of the North American Man Beast, which you (and I ) are.....and you had to do it to establish your role in survival.

Or come up with some similar scientific sounding BS...

If I were you I would make out a will right now. If you would like you could mention my name in there to recieve all of your trikes and parts... Just a suggestion.
