200es Hard Shifting Problem

I just took the clutch cover off and removed the clutch lifter cam/plate and ball retainer. In the pic it looks like the under lying cam/plate behind is not engaged into the tang that drives it. Is this my problem???

By the way..........yes that is frost on those parts. I am working in an unheated shed at -12c.
