I recently aquired a 1985 225dx. I take a streach of asphalt to where I ride the machine pulls hard to one side but feels great on the dirt. Laugh all you want but is this normal?

Make sure both back tires have the same air pressure if there off it will pull. Thats more likely the problem.

On my YTM I had 4 more pounds in the one tire and it pulled.

My T3 pulls every time I put it on ashphalt. I checked the air and everything is fine. I just assumed it was the crown in the rode. It seems to pull always toward the center of the rode, no matter what side I'm riding on. Maybe a function of the one front tire and the slope of the road up to the crown.

bent fork? is air pressure is correct.
225dx's are notorious for weak forks. Bent one before myself......

Either the crown of the road, pressure is off on the rear, or your front forks are not equally aligned in your fork tree, resolving in a canted front tire, had that happen on my DX.

You can also check your hub. May they are loose on the axle.

Doesn't the 225dx have a center position stop sort of thing ?
Could this possibly have something to do with it ?

mine did that. i replaced all three tires and now it tracks perfect. the problem is probably the tires like the other posts say. by the way i put a kenda tire on the front and mudlites on the rear and its sweet.
