I am going to register one of my trikes so I can use it on the roads over here, and I am looking for a good set of tires for this application. I am leaning towards the turf style tires.

Do they mark turf tires in larger sizes, such as 25 inch?

Do they let 3 wheelers on the road in NZ,thats pretty cool !

Turf tires aren't DOT legal if you have to get the wheeler inspected and I doubt you'll find them in 25's.

Look into golf cart tires, I remeber seeing some street legal versions not long ago.

If theres no inspection then Turf Savers or something similar would be perfect. Finding them in 25 inch size might be tough.

Yeah it's just to bad that there are some real crazy drivers on our roads here:crazy: . Can you get a atv registered over in Aus somehow??

FOR SURE!! Trike would stay nice and clean and imagine how fun wet days on the road would be with knobbies!

I did see a banshee all tricked out for the road in QLD but dont think NSW would have it the Roads Dept are A Holes,hey we get your NZ Highway Patrol show over here its on every week.

That show is great. I called up a few local tire shops today, I can find golf cart tires no sweat, so I might go pick up 3 of them some time during the new year.
