I purchased a 1985 110 motor to replace my worn-out 79 motor and I have a question on the airbox. I'm not 100% sure I got the correct airbox with the motor as it looks totally different than what came with the trike when I bought it. Can someone take a few photos of their 110 airbox and how it attaches to the frame?

Thanks in advance!

I'd take a few more but machine is not stored where I live, this might help though.............

I'm quite sure this is a 110 also. I have so many parts floating around I get mixed up at times. This came in a box but looks like one to me.

Thanks for the photos! Mine looks the same, only it has another port facing the frame. Not quite sure what this is supposed to go to as there is no opening in the frame in that area. Maybe that is one of the differences between the 79 and 85 frames?? Now I just need to order a filter for it.

Thanks for the links. Guess the 85 airbox won't work with my frame since the holes in the frame are different.

What does that port that runs through the frame hook up to??

I think it just intersects into a junction of the frame and uses the upper frame member as part of the air passage way. Most likely there are openings in the front section of frame to draw in air somewhere.

I bought a few 110's to restore and just stashed them till I have time to restore them, that's why I'm just guessing, never looked real close at that section.
