Actually there is a pipeline on both sides of the road I had been searching since he was last seen there. I was about to go home and bring my big red and go into the woods to look.
But I found him running with a couple of other dogs by a house on that road. It was an elderly lady that saw him and drove to the store where we had put a flier and called us saying she had seen him. I called her back after finding him offering her a reward and she didn't want it.
Yeah we are all very glad to have both of our dogs back. My bulldog was found Tuesday and a guy brought him to the address that was stamped on his collar.

It was hell man. I bred my Boxers ONE time a little over 6 years ago. My female had 10 pups which I helped her deliver (broke the sacs/cords). "ROCK" was my pick of the litter male I wanted to keep. Soon after they were weaned my female died. It was heartbreaking for us. He was born one month after my son. So they are now both 6 years old.
So you see, I helped bring Rock into this world and he is definitely a family member. So loosing him was like loosing a child. I searched and searched and searched everyday for him as well as my bulldog Sully.
Sully was found and brought back earlier, so he was gone about a day and a half. rock was gone for 5 days.
I'm just so happy that neither him or Sully were hit by a car because this was the first time they were ever loose, ever.

I really appreciate the comments guys, really.

Glad to hear he's safe at home now. My lab gets out all the time in the summer and goes swimming in the creek across the street. The other day the animal control guy brought him home from the creek. Maybe we should build him a small pool in the back yard. The only problem is that in the winter the small pool would freeze. The creek moves enough that it never freezes.
