LT230 split from smoky and the bandit!

I have a lt230s quadsport that used to smoke like you wouldnt beleve. It need new rings and i re sealed the valves (replaced one) then ran like new.hey but at least there wasent a mosquito in our neghorhood for about 3 months seriously.

Its most likely the rings. It probably will have to be rebored. I highly doubt its the valve seals. Usuallt if it is valve seals it will only smoke on start up and then go away once its warmed up.

You say it's black smoke? Oil on the plug? It's running rich. Could also have a plugged exhaust.
