Anyone know what this engine Is.

Could this possably be from an Alt185. It says 168cc on the front of the cylinder though so probly not. Not sure what the heck Its from. It has a goofy shifter & a chain driven hi / low gear box behind the engine. Any help would be great.

I beleave it goes into a KLT 4 wheeler.

I checked out some KLT160's & 185's on Ebay & none of those are electric start & It looks like the Kawi's are shaft drive In the quads & 3 wheeler's.

Its not an ALT, at least its not like the 125, and I think the 185 is the same. Teh ALT does not have hi/lo range, and has a knob with a red handle you pull up to put it in reverse.

What bike has a right-hand sprocket? And only electric start? I dont think its from trike. The are only so many models in the 160, 175, and 185 range. KLT and KLF 185's are shaft drive. I believe the lt185's have pull-starters. Are you sure its 168cc?

I had a 79' TS 185 suzuki on/off that had a hi/lo just like that one so it could be the same ?

Yes I'm sure Its a 168cc. I will check on a TS185. I have never heard of one, but I'll check It out. Thanks guys.

The TS185 is a two stroke. If it had a hi/lo range, it was the TC185 which was almost the same thing but with hi/lo.
