86 250r carrier in 85 250r swinger??

will an 86 R carrier work in an 85 swinger? If i only need a brake bracket or something it should be no biggy.

i "think" you will have the sprocket bolts hitting the larger 86 carrier adjustments. then you will also have brake issues. it is easier to put a 85 carrier back in.

not when you have an 86 carrier you just have to pick up :D i really rather have an 85 carrier but if an 86 will work itd be just as easy

the 86 carrier has a bigger diameter, it won't fit into the swimgarm.

well i have a plus 3 i think it is thats already powdercoated i planned on using but its the 85 model. I didnt think about needing an 86 caliper...dam well it looks like if it dont fit i'll be puting the 86 carrier on ebay and buying an 85 carrier or somethin.
