Well im from idabel oklahoma its in the very southeast corner but i need a carburator, plastics, seat, intake boot, i would like to know which would be best as far as the parts go at a cheaper price i cant afford a 500 dollar carb lol but i would like to know what applications would be best for the three wheeler its an 83 air cooled

:welcome: Man, Nice score on the R. The best place to look for parts would be ebay. Just find one that suits your liking and bid what its worth to you. Just make sure you ask the seller any questions you have before you bid. hope this helps and good luck getting that thing back on track. Also i dont know if you have one or not but heres an engine i found...http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Honda-ATC-250R-Engine-Motor-250-R-83-84-Runs-GREAT_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ43977QQihZ005QQit emZ150079122408QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW

looks like you have a 83 or 84 there. parts are pretty cheap and easy to find. I would buy a 36mm keihin for it. a stocker from any trx250r would be great. some good reeds and a new top end will be killer!! those banshees will still be hard to beat though.
:TrikesOwn so you got yourself an air fooler huh?? there nice Ive always been a liquid fan my self, but when I got my air cooled I fell in love,(didnt help that it was actually a 300, lol:p ) the only draw back to the air cooled models is the 5 speed tranny, it so despratly needs 1 more gear!! and dont ask about adding a gear, unless your Donald T's son or something.. and put some plastic on it!!! naked trikes look like hilly billy machines!!! well any way welcome aboard!!!:pics:

The classifieds on this board work really well
Bikebandit.com helped me out with the drawings and cheap prices
Ebay is always good to check too. a search never hurt
Take the whole thing apart clean paint and grease it(grease the motor mount bolts 4 sure;nasty when they sieze up) get your parts you need, and your ready to go with your trike in good shape too.
