Cr 500r clutch cover

Does anyone know if the 2 piece clutch covers will bolt up to the 85-86 motors? The cover on my 86 was a little rotted around the water pump, i cobbled it up with jb. Problem is that i cant seem to find a replacement. If the newer style will work that will improve my chances of finding one.

yes it will 87-01 will fit the engine, but the direction of the water hoses is different for several years. Get the 87 it will work great for you.
