I have a 1983 Big Red, and im going to put a winch on it. I also want heated hand grips. I need to get a new seat pan and when I do and go get it recovered I want to stick one of those heated seat pads from a car in there. Obviously it cant handle this much power being drawn, is there a high output thing I can buy? What do I need to get to make this work? Btw the winch probly wont be used the same time as the heated stuff, and vise versa. And its got stock lights.

Send your strator out to a company for a re-wind. You can pretty much get it wound up as high as you want. Let me show you an example:

:eek: 400$ is a little much to spend on a 100$ machine. Ive decided not to go with the seat warmer just hand warmers and the winch.

Is there just a stator or coil I can buy thats prewrapped? Or is there one off another/newer machine that would fit? Which coil do they wrap? And does anyone know the output of the stock stator?
