I know for a 310 kit I need a 72mm piston and rings which is no problem, I can have them here tomarrow. And yes it may only be 295cc I dont care!!! What do I need for the air cooled engine besides that? Do I need different connecting rod, different sleeve, major machine work for this project. Is there anyone out there who sells the kits for the air cooled R's anymore. Thanks

so... what are you asking?? no there isnt any big bore kits avail anymore for the air cooled R's unless you already have a hondaline 300 kit or the fabled mugen 360 kit. I do have info of a placle that does the sleeves/pistons/gaskets for the 300's

http://www.qande.com/

I contacted them after I picked up my 300 for rebuild info, and they do it all, in fact they may be able to "MAKE" you a big bore kit, never hurts to ask.

Brockey, did you ask Terry at Hondaone about the Hondaline 300R kit? Any chance he could dig a kit up for you?? Worth a try.

Well this info was gotten from gotballs 250r if it wasnt for him, we wouldnt have this info, also if you do a search for hondaline 300 I made a thread strickly for this this place that does the work, for hte pricing they have I think they are awesome, I am slowly getting parts for another 300 kit, becouse I got a line on an original wiscoe 3mm stroker crank for the air cooled R's thats never been taken out of the pakage!!
