ok guys i am putting a 28mm mikuni carb on my 84 200s. i am also making a costume intake for it to mount to. i have the mounting plate cutouts done. i need to get them cut out of steel now. but the only problem im having is where do i want the carb to go? ive seen somewhere that someone had the carb coming out of the recoil side of the frame. i guess what im asking is... does it matter how long of a tube i have? will it effect the performance? if so can it be made up threw the jetting? also does anyone have pictures of a costume intake set up? oooo yea i forgot to mention that the carb is off a sled. i have like 2 or 3 of them and no sled. so i figured i would give it a whorl. any help or pictures would be great.
