well, looks like I am the new owner of an 84 big red. I will have to get some pics up........ I think I got a pretty good buy for 400 bucks. Heres the question: the stock decal on the front forks, right behind the rack, does it say "honda" or "all terrain cycle" ?? I'm looking to get the bike back to stock. Thanks for the help guys.

Yeah, "Honda", and ebay might be a good place to start.

I think it says "ALL TERAIN CYCLE" or at least my '83 200e does and the parts diagram for the '84 200es has that.

Thanks for the responses guys. i'm trying to figure out if these forks are stock or maybe someone swapped them out in the past. I know the 83 big red had all the terrain cycle sticker on the front, yet the brochure site shows an 84 with the same thing. Other 84's say honda. Maybe the early 84s had the all terrain decal and later run models had the honda decal? I wouldn't have even noticed but these forks are super loose at the steering head. Guess its time to pull em apart and see whats up with the bearings. Thanks guys.

Hey Sandpup. yeah its kind of interesting right? Like I said maybe the earlier models had the ATC front decal and for some reason Honda decided to switch over mid year? Hmmmm....... Either way I'm off to my garage to start pulling this front end apart. Figure maybe I can loosen up the suspension and hopefully tighten up the steering head.

I have seen both. My big red says honda. My dads 84 200s said all terrain cycle.
