Hi,
One quick question.Which is a better three wheeler a 1986 Yamaha YTM225 or a 1984 kawasaki KLT200? Is their any big problems with either of them?
Thanks,

You will have more luck finding parts for the Yamaha. The Tri-Moto's are great bikes, and are very reliable.

Yep tri-motos will take a beatin and keep on going. The 225's are shaft drive with rear suspension. Which would be nice, as my ytm-200 only has front suspension, and is a hard tail.

As a Ex KLT owner I would go with the YTM225 also, the suspension is so nice to have!!!

The yamaha and kawasaki are both firm at $550.The kawasaki ia a 1984duckster with reverse. I didnt know they made a 84' duckster. I have heard the yamaha had a problem with the forks bending is this true? I already have a
82' honda ACT200 that I am trying to sell but the bearings are blown out in the rear. I tried to replace them but didnt get any farther than the brake drum:-)

Hi
Are the bearings any better on the trikes with suspension? I have a honda 200cc three wheeler that I would trade for one with full suspension. It needs rear bearings and brake work and a recoil rope put in. It runs good but smokes a little. If anyone wants to trade give me a price on what it would cost to trade.

Your going to have to dish out some Money if you want a full suspension Tri Moto.

The 225 is way far superior to the 200 even though it is a HONDA.

Let me know what you have and what it will cost to trade. I might consider one with the front suspension.

I only have a '82 Honda ATC200. I as looking at buying a mint '84 duckster but everyone thought the '86 yamaha 225 is a better machine. I still have'nt made up my mind on what to buy:confused:

I found a nice '81 250R that is $700. Is that a better machine then the YTM225? I also found a '84 200x but I think I would rather have a 250R or the YTM225. Which is going to be more truble free? I need to make up my mind by Saturday!
Thank you,
