carb swap

I have a 82' klt 250 and a 85' klt 110. I am restoring my 250 and have it in pieces. I am thinking of putting the carb from my 250 on my 110. is this a bad choice or will it work ok?

bigger carbs are always better. lol but dont go to big or it will do you no good. what sizes are they?

Bigger carbs have less response. I wouldnt do it unless the existing one is a restriction of flow. Chances are good that your limiting factors are somewhere other than the carb. Does it even fit?

i have a built up 110 and i run a 200x carb i think its 24mm and i had to jet it up.

if your bike is stock it might be to big

I think it is a 26mm carb that i will put on.
