I made a set of aluminum radiator guards for my 85 250R because nobody else does. I used Diamond mesh aluminum and cut it to sit inside the border of the factory black plastic ones. I left the factory black plastic ones for the mounting. I cut them to fit and then cut out the area at the top where it is recessed so the fork legs clear. I then used .031 diameter aircraft safety wire to attach the aluminum screen over the black plastic screens. You could use tie raps but Safety wire is less visable. Before I put the screens on the bike I took fine sandpaper then a scotch brite pad to the face and then polished them. That is probably the coolest looking thing you can do to your bike for free. I say free because I have the aluminum. But you can get the aluminum pretty cheap. Look at the pictures of my 250R that are posted under Mike Ft Lauds pics on Trikeslvania. There is a front shot of the bike and you can see them shine.

yea, nobody makes guards for ATC 250R's atleast from what I have seen, but if you find a good machinist or a fello 3-wheeler guy then you can come up with your own cool design.
