Can we come up with a list the shows which Honda rear axle hub fits what other models and years and adds length to the rear axle or just benefits from being newer.

Some of you 200X owners may not know that the 300EX,400EX and 450R rear axle hubs fit on the 83 to 85 200X axle and add an inch or more to both sides. Not sure of the actual increase (help??) And correct me if I'm wrong!!

Anyhow, I'm wondering if 86/87 200X can run the those newer hubs? Or did I read that those year 200X's fits the 83/84 250R?? So any new model hubs that can extend the 83/84R?? must fit the last year 200X's....(maybe??)

Also, does the 350X - both the 85 and 86 - share the same hub splines as the 83 to 85 200X??

And what about all the 250R's, what else do they fit or who fit's them.... do the 85/86 hubs fit anything else or add anymore axle length?? Or is there a newer OEM hub that extends the stock R's??

The 82 250R has the same axle as the 83 to 85 200X - it comes with a chinsey pressed and formed steel hub, I imagine the 83 to 85 200X hubs fit and the same hubs extend it....

85-89 250r and 85/86 350x share the same splines(25t). Most honda's use the 24t spline that is used on 200x, 250x, 300ex, 450r, 81-84 250r. 86/87 200x-current hubs that share the same spline are ~1" offset. I am gonna put lsr 400ex hubs on my 86 200x w/ 83-84 250r +4 axle, it should come out to be right at 50".

86-87 200x hubs are the same as 300-400ex hubs. The 350X and 250R use the same hubs and they will not fit any other bike. The 86-87 200x, 250, 300, 400 ex hubs will fit just about any other Honda axle and will add about 1" per side.

Hi. I'm considering using an axle, carrier and hubs from a 99-08 TRX400EX in an 83 ATC 200X. The plan is to cut-off the carrier housing on the 200X swingarm and weld the TRX carrier on in it's place. Does anyone know if the sprockets will line up? I don't have the TRX axle in-hand yet.

Thanks,
Derek
