Would this be ok to put in the forks on my 85 250R? Thanks.

Sure it would, no problem, but since Honda usually calls for (not positive about 85) Automatic Transmission Fluid (equivelint to 10W approx) in the forks the 5W may make the forks react too quick and will be a bit softer then normal.
Also depends on how much your weight is and what type of riding you do?
I'm being pretty suspension tuning picky here so for general riding purposes and just dicking around the 5W will be fine or you may even like the forks a bit on the softer side, I don't know?
Also, you can buy a quart of ATF for 1/2 that price.
I use this stuff in mine, figure since it is supposed to help condition old seals it's just the ticket for old fork seals that may start to leak ..........

for large jumping my buddy used 30wt in his 350x forks and its the best set of forks i ever felt

I wasn't sure if they even made 30W any more? Was it 30W FORK oil?

yes it was....i like at least 15wt in my shocks
