'86 Honda 350X - what's it worth?

Ok guys - been awhile since I was here. Sold the Big Red and now have a 450 foreman - love it...

anyway, I've got a line on a 1986 350x. It's supposed to have less than 100 kms on it. One of the local farmer's kid died and he just stored it for all these years. I haven't seen it yet, but a buddy I ride with has (he knows his *Edited**Edited**Edited**Edited* - I trust his opinion).

He says the tires still have the 'tit's on them - it is 'pristine', as he calls it.

Now, depending on the condition, I might just buy this thing and sell it right away - what's it worth? Ebay the best place to sell it? I'm going to look at it, hopefully this week (cash in hand). If I get'er I'll post some pics.

Actually no...if it is as pristine as my friend says I am going to stick it up above my barn and shrink-wrap it. If it's not as good as he says, then yes, I'll turn it around.

I'd remind him that he paid less than 2500$ for it new 21 years ago and that most or all of the parts are discontinued. But, you'd still be interested in it for the right price. If it has nubs on the tires it's worth from 4000 to 6000 smacks depending on when it's sold and how it's presented,

I bought my 1986 350X acouple months ago and still had the original front tire on it for 900 bucks. Its still a pretty tight machine, so you can get them for a good price
