200x help?

i need the ohm's readings for the cdi box on an 83 200x or if someone has one i could barrow to se eif its the cdi btu the readings woudl be easiest. so i can figure out why it doesnt have spark anymore.

Be warned. The reading will change depending on what meter you use.

A CDI is not just a resistor, it is non linear. That means that the impedance changes with the voltage applied. Different meters, even different range setting on the same meter will give different results. Also, because the CDI is a active, multi stage device, a bad one can read just the same as a good one for ohms.

Here is a schematic of the CDI for a Honda street bike as a example.
