I was looking at either putting a 720 big bore kit in or some new cams, they both cost the same but i dont have enough money 2 do them both so what would be my best bang for the buck. Also can i do the cam mod just like the yfz 450's.

I would go with the big bore, first you can always cam up later, and I dont think since its not a yfz that you can do the cam mod. but if you go big bore make sure your carb goes up and everything else!! and make sure your clutch can handle the extra load, just becouse you go add a biiger cyl/piston dosnt meen that leave everything else alone, thats what ends up turning it into a ds650 pile of scrap!

I have a Lectron 46mm Carb for a DS650. Needs a Needle. That, a pipe and a Rev box is good for ALOT of performance gain. I wouldnt go 720 if this machine is a common rider. You are getting into Reliability issues with that setup. You wont really get all the performance potential witha Bigbore unless you are install freeer flowing exhaust, cams and portwork as well.

id go cams and not put a bigbore kit in it, like he said above, reliability issues, just wait till something goes wrong and you have to put a new piston in it anyways

If you want more reliability, go with a smaller bore (or even a stroker kit). Somewhere around 670-680 or so. It will have the torque to throw your eyeballs back into your head...but you will sacrafice some top end RPM's. You'll still be much faster though.
