View Full Version : Kegerator
well i have finally bought one. I have wanted one for years and with the 2k i won off of the super bowl i went and bought one. i was going to build one but by the time i went and bought very thing including a new refrigerator i could have bought one already made. I was going to get the frigid aire beverage master. I had found it for a $1000 on ebay byt decided to go for the small danby one because of its compact size. I got it set up last night and my wife is picking me up a keg of Saint Arnolds after work. I just need to find a place to fill the CO2 bottle. Anyone else have one of these?

the place I get my bottle filled is the fire extinguisher place in town. A 5 pound bottle is only $15.00 bucks and we get three 16 gallons of beer out of it.

I stock Coors light for the sippins.
My wife went on a handle shopping spree a few months back, I have around 15 of them.
I finally got someone to fill it. It was a 3 day wait but he had a 10 pound bottle sitting there that was full so i bought it. The saint arnolds i had to order and it wouldnt be in till friday. I was tooooo thirsty for that so i bought a budlight keg. I am getting a whole bunch of foam though. They refer to it as wild beer. I had my CO2 set at 10 psi like the directions stated. Late last night i knocked it down to 2 psi and it seemed to help dramatically. What psi do you have yours set at? When you install a new keg is it foamy and if so for how long?

let it sit for 4-5 hours untapped. You are past that part now. I run 8 psi through mine, as it will keep the beer longer. I'll find a link and post it for you. Alot of great information on the site.
