Ice riding in NE Ohio. OTC!!!!???? 2/18/07

Went to Portage Lakes (near Akron) last weekend and did some ice riding. It was the best time ive ever had riding during the winter. The lake is huge. And you can just ride bar to bar on the lake. Eat and drink!! Its a great time!!!:beer

It is totally legal to ride there. Your aloud to ride until 11pm at nite. Last sunday there was about 50-75 people out. Quads, dirtbikes, snowmobiles, and me, the only trike. I was like eye candy!!!!:naughty:

Anyways, a bunch of us are going out this sunday. Just wanted to invite everyone. Its such a great time. They do require you have your Ohio state sticker, but I dont think they are that strick because I didnt have mine and they didnt hassle me. Hope to get a few more trikes out. I will have 3 for this sunday.

Now that sounds like a lot of fun! It's a good 6 hours from me but I'd like to try it sometime.

Does the lake of slight snow on it so you can get some traction or is it just pure ice?

How would I get a OH sticker being from PA ?

MAN, I wanna come out sometime, I never did anything like this, sounds like a blast! How old are you guys?

Are you going to go next Sunday on the 25th too possibly? Can you hook me up with getting a sticker somehow or give me a link where to get one?

What I'm thinking is I could come out on a Saturday, get a motel room somewhere and be rarin to go with you guys on Sunday morning!! :Bounce

:beer There is enough snow packed down that you dont need to stud. Coming from Pa for the day or weekend I wouldnt worry about the state sticker. Like I said before, they arent that strick about it. Next weekend could work for sure.

I will get some pics this weekend and post up. Its like a party on the lake.
