82 R is looking better???

Well,we had a heat wave Sunday,it got up to 19 lol!!!
My friend was going to go wash his truck so I got him to put the R in the back and we went to the car wash.
I sprayed the R down with degreaser but didnt get the cylinder fins real clean,I got years of grease and grime off though.
Shes comeing along slowly,I got my headlight guard on too,now I just need a headlight :wondering

I wish I could have afforded a welding kit,I got little red zip ties at the Auto Parts Store and spent 3 days drilling holes and threading the damn things through!!
My hands have bad Arthritis and man that hurts doing the zip tie deal lol!!!

Nice looking old school 250R !!

I listed the only 1982 250R parts I had on EBAY yesteday, including a headlight. The headlight is on there and it is very nice, and cheap. No lens or trim but the plastic is the hardest part to get in good shape. I had the trim, it was rusty with one ding and I tossed it. I'm a MORON...It could have been easily fixed :(

I don't have the link, just search 82 250R....

If any of it doesn't sell I will sell it cheapy cheap. I still have the front and rear caliper rebuilt in my cellar somewhere.....They won't be cheapy cheap :)
