I have payed a little more attention to the lites class this year. What do you guys think of Ryan Vilipotto ( I think that is how you spell it). I have heard some people say he is the next RC. Do you think he could give Bubba a race? I think he can. I noticed some of his lap times are only a few tenths of a second behind Bubba's. Pretty good since he is riding the 250 and Bubba is on the 450. I believe it was in SF, he had the 2nd fastest lap of the day. Bubba had the fastest. That right there shows you he could beat most of the 450 on his 250. I look forward to seeing him run with the big guys in a few years. We can only hope we have the chance to see him face up against RC. I am sure he will be completely retired by then, but it still would be cool....

RV is gunning for stewart. The 250f class is nothing but a stepping stone. He charges the entire race no matter if its a heat or the mains. He reminds me of the older ricky not the young one.At anahiem3 he posted the second fastest lap time to stewart.I cant wait till he gets on the 450!

I agree. I think RV and Stewart have a very competitive future. I wonder if Kawasaki is going to want him to run with Bubba or keep him in the lites for a while.

From what i have heard RV is gonna be in the 250f class next year also. That is a good question about kawasaki keeping him.I dont think kawi could afford to keep them both in the same rig.I wouldnt be surprised if Honda grabs him after his contract with pro circuit runs out.

This will be RCs last season. Ivan Tedesco is a good rider, but really hasn't been at the front. You think Suzuki will try to grab him to replace RC? I think he has the best chance of filling those shoes. Up until Suzuki got RC, they hadn't been winning any SX.

Suzuki has gotten a good dose of winning with ricky dominating so they dont want that to end.Yamaha has a pretty full house with reed, ramsey, hill, hepler and langston. That leaves suzuki, honda and maybe kawi but stewart has to be choking the life out them financially wise. What would be really cool is if pro circuit feilded a 450 team.

I like Villapota, he has a great future.
I agree with RC on speed channel today........that Villapota spends as much time in lites classes as he can before he moves up to supercross.

I kinda agree with RC on that, but I also think that RV will be one of those guys who is going to dominate no matter which class he is in...

What makes you say that? Did you hear that somewhere? I don't really think there is much to worry about. Unless Reed really steps up his game, Bubba should take it with ease. Bubbas worst enemy on the track is Bubba. I really thought he would be able to keep the bike on 2 wheels better this year. I really like Reed and I would like to see him beat Bubba or at least challenge him more. Of course if Bubba does leave Kawi, RV would probably definetly move up. Sorry to say, but I don't think Reed could do any better against him....

He won the Amp'd title last season. I guess they are wanting the AMA though. With RC not running, I don't think that will be a problem. I really don't fee CR can step up that much. Bubba rides like there is no tommorow. Unfortunately, that hurts him a lot too...

James will win the SX championship. As long as he keeps it on 2 wheels.Reed will be there till the end he is super consistant.I cant wait till daytona Reedy rips there.
